Introduction

Welcome to Hi-Fi Services. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our app and website platform (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

  1. Services Provided: Hi-Fi Services operates as a comprehensive platform for manual service providers to list their services. These services encompass a wide range of offerings, including but not limited to window cleaning, office and commercial cleaning, home and floor cleaning, deep cleaning, waterproofing, painting, pest control, landscaping, handyman services, electrical repairs, plumbing services, appliance repair, HVAC services, garden maintenance, event cleaning services, moving and packing services, and car detailing. Clients can explore these listings, compare services, and select the providers that best meet their individual needs. Hi-Fi Services aims to facilitate a seamless connection between clients and service providers.
  2. Role of Hi-Fi Services: Hi-Fi Services operates as a comprehensive platform for manual service providers to list their services. These services encompass a wide range of offerings, including but not limited to window cleaning, office and commercial cleaning, home and floor cleaning, deep cleaning, waterproofing, painting, pest control, landscaping, handyman services, electrical repairs, plumbing services, appliance repair, HVAC services, garden maintenance, event cleaning services, moving and packing services, and car detailing. Clients can explore these listings, compare services, and select the providers that best meet their individual needs. Hi-Fi Services aims to facilitate a seamless connection between clients and service providers.
  3. Booking and Payment Policy for Hi-Fi Services: When a customer attempts to make a booking via the mobile app, they will be required to pay a nominal fee of ₹100/- (One Hundred Rupees only) towards site inspection charges. This fee will be deducted from the total payment if the work is successfully completed.
    • Customers have the option to cancel their booking at any time before a technician in the designated geo-fenced area accepts their request. Once a technician accepts the booking, the cancellation option will no longer be available, and the customer must proceed with the service as scheduled.
    • In the event that a refund is requested for a service-related issue, customers should refer to the Refund Policy outlined below. The Inspection charges associated with the booking will be non-refundable if the customer chooses to refuse the service. If the service is completed, the Inspection charges will also be deducted from the total service charges.
    • This policy is in place to ensure a smooth and efficient booking process for all users of the Hi-Fi Services platform.
  4. Liability Disclaimer: Hi-Fi Services disclaims all liability for any disputes, claims, or issues that arise between clients and service providers. The service providers listed on our Platform operate as independent contractors and are not employees or agents of Hi-Fi Services. Consequently, Hi-Fi Services shall not be responsible for any actions, omissions, or liabilities incurred by service providers. Clients engage service providers at their own risk.
  5. Compliance with Laws: All service providers utilizing the Platform are responsible for complying with all relevant laws and regulations. This includes adherence to labor laws, health and safety standards, and any other statutory requirements applicable to their services. Providers must ensure compliance with the Employees’ State Insurance Act, Gratuity Act, and any other laws currently in effect.
  6. Intellectual Property Rights: All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and trademarks, is the intellectual property of Hi-Fi Services or its licencors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any unauthorized use of the Platform’s content, including reproduction, distribution, or modification, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
  7. Reporting Objectionable Content: In the event that users encounter objectionable content or false information on the Platform, they are encouraged to notify Hi-Fi Services immediately. Upon receipt of such notifications, Hi-Fi Services will make reasonable efforts to review and remove the objectionable content within a maximum period of 45 days. We prioritize maintaining a high standard of quality and integrity on our Platform.
  8. Changes to Terms: Hi-Fi Services reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. By continuing to use the Platform after changes have been made, users signify their acceptance of the revised Terms. It is the responsibility of users to review these Terms periodically to stay informed about any updates.
  9. Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hi-Fi Services, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to their use of the Platform, any violation of these Terms, or any violation of any rights of a third party.
  10. Governing Law: These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Thrissur, Kerala Jurisdiction. Users waive any objections based on venue or forum non convenience.
  11. Entire Agreement: These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether oral or written. Any amendments or modifications to these Terms must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
  12. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be interpreted to reflect the original intent of the parties as closely as possible.
  13. Waiver: No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provision, nor shall any waiver constitute a continuing waiver. Any failure by Hi-Fi Services to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
  14. Refund Policy for Hi-Fi Services: Customers may request a refund from Hi-Fi Services under specific circumstances, including:
    1. Incorrect Service: If the service provided differs significantly from what was promised or described.
    2. Incomplete Service: If the service was not finished or did not meet the agreed-upon standards.
    3. Unprofessional Behavior: If the service provider engages in inappropriate or unprofessional conduct during the service.

    To initiate a refund, customers should email us within 24 hours of the job completion date. Upon receiving the email, the Hi-Fi Services team will log the complaint and provide a complaint number within 48 hours via email or text message.

    The Customers will be updated on the status of their refund claim within 14 working days through email. If the refund is approved by Hi-Fi Services’ grievance redressal officer, the refund amount will be credited to the customer’s wallet within 48 hours, excluding holidays. Hi-Fi Services reserves the right to accept or deny refund requests based on the information gathered from the service provider regarding the job. Customers will receive an email detailing the status of their claim, including reasons for any approval or denial.

    Please be aware that this refund policy applies exclusively to transactions made through the wallet or online payment options.
